Site work for a water / sewer project in Christoval, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Tom Green County Fresh Water Supply District #2 (District) will design and construct projects, assisted by the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund,to construct water system improvements in this community. Accordingly, the District is seeking to contract with a qualified professional engineer or professional engineering consulting firm to prepare, preliminary and final design for construction, and contract management to the Texas Water Development Board. The District will not be responsible for any costs incurred in submitting a response and selection is dependent upon funding from the Texas Water Development Board. This contract is subject to the Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, which include EPA approved fair share goals toward procurement of Minority and Women owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) businesses. EPA rules require that applicants and prime contractors make a good faith effort to award a fair share of contracts, sub-contracts, and procurements to M/WBEs through demonstration of the six affirmative steps. The District reserves the right to negotiate with any and all engineering consultants or firms submitting proposals, according to Office of Management and Budget Circular A-102. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
