Renovation of a municipal facility in Hamden, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
New metal roof on the pavilion on Covert Hollow in Hamden . The Town reserves the right to accept the bid that is best for the interest of the Town or reject any and all bids. A non collusive form is to accompany all bids. Install 6-inch-wide plywood strips, screwed down on all edges with ceramic coated deck screws and fastened over the existing shingle roof. 1" x 3" furring strips to be installed every 2 feet on center from eave to ridge. Install eave trim Metal panels to be screwed down onto the wood framework Install rake and ridge cap; ridge will be vented Install new matching metal flashing wherever necessary Install pipe collars on all vent pipes Snow guards will be installed on all eave edges Magnet sweep perimeter when done Supply Town of Hamden with minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and supply certificate on that and workers compensation prior to work start. Inform as to expected payment schedule Labor is to be supplied at prevailing State wage guidelines. Identify expected start and completion dates of project.
