The Successful Proposer will conduct building inspection services in the City of Cedar Park, Texas. Building inspections will be requested on an as needed basis, will include commercial and residential inspections, and will be initiated upon request of the Development Services Director or Chief Building Official. Proposers shall outline the information needed from the City when requesting inspection services. Building Inspection services shall be conducted as required by the City's Code of Ordinances and adopted Codes. The City of Cedar Park is currently under the 2015 ICC Codes; however, Council recently adopted the 2021 ICC Codes and the City will begin requiring compliance with the 2021 Codes on June 1, 2022. The Successful Proposer shall provide personnel certified by the International Code Council with a minimum certification of Combination Inspector. Successful Proposer will be required to use MyGovernmentOnline to view electronic permits and building plans. Evidence of inspection results shall be entered into Inspections Anywhere software. Successful Proposer will ideally perform inspection services within 24 hours and no later than 48 hours of notification from the City. Successful Proposer shall conduct all necessary inspections on permitted activities such as, but not limited to, decks, swimming pools, accessory buildings, new residential, new commercial, and residential and commercial alternations and additions. In addition to recording inspection results in Inspections Anywhere, the Successful Proposer shall provide a summary of all inspections conducted, including any specific concerns identified, failed inspections, or inspections that did not get completed to the Development Services Director or Building Official daily. o Attend occasional meetings as required. All interested Proposers shall submit individual inspector's resumes, background verifications, and certification documentation of all personnel that will be performing inspections services under this contract. As new personnel is assigned to this contract, the successful Contractor shall submit resumes, background verifications, and certification documentation as part of contract compliance. The Successful Proposer shall demonstrate their capacity and availability to perform the work requested. Provide list of clients for which your company currently is providing similar services;
Provide inspector availability and methods of contact;
Describe in writing your project approach to provide this service
Provide samples of requested daily inspection summary reports
Outline your proposed staffing levels All data, maps, photographs, and other material prepared and collected and all documents of any type developed or obtained by Successful Proposer in the performance of this contract, shall become the property of the City of Cedar Park. The City reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all submitted Proposals or any part thereof, waive immaterial errors, and award the contract in the best interest of the City.
