**As of June 20, 2022, the construction start date will on May 11, 2022 and the completion will be on May 16, 2022. All materials and all work will be in accordance with the 2012 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction. Insurance requirements shall be in accordance with the 2012 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction. Award is contingent upon Board approval and funding being available from Federal Aid buyout. Contractors / suppliers that do not honor their bid through out the season may at WCRC discretion be precluded from future bid lettings. This work involves the placement of HMA wedge to correct inversion, quarter crown, and general road failures, of bituminous pavement over the existing pavement to achieve strength and proper cross section and where necessary and directed by engineer. Some areas may only be quarter crown correction, while other areas will be full wedge due to condition of roadway. The Wexford County Road Commission will perform preparatory work, including shoulder grading and sweeping, along with aggregate shoulder work, after bituminous paving is complete. The contractor will be responsible for all items of work listed in the Bid Proposal. In locations with lots of driveways contractor is responsible to have sufficient staff and equipment finish the widening to the driveways with accounting for the speed of cooling, workability of material, making sure to not affect ride quality of the mainline. Timing is critical with this project and necessary to be completed prior to May 15, 2022
