Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Groton, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; and transportation facility.
The Town of Groton is seeking proposals for a Study, Design and Permitting that will lead to a solution to address the Broadmeadow Road/James Brook crossing and improvements to the connection along the old railroad bed/current rail trail to the properties being revitalized at the end of Station Avenue and Court Street. Minimum requirements for this work include previous experience in engineering/design of roadway improvements, traffic and pedestrian safety, and flooding mitigation. Time Period for Completed Project Six Months Briefing Session None Funding for this work will come from American Rescue Plan Act Funds provided to the Town of Groton through a Federal Grant. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
