Site work and paving for a civil project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of water main renewals for Bower Boulevard from Mountbatten Avenue to mid-block north of Mountbatten Avenue, Collegiate Street from Portage Avenue to mid-block north of Portage Avenue, Laxdal Road from Geraldine Drive to Parkin Avenue, and St Gabriel Avenue from La Barriere Road to Charette Road. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 1010 meters of 150 diameter PVC water main by trenchless methods; (b) Abandonment or removal of existing water mains, hydrants and gate valves; (c) Installation of gate valves and hydrant assemblies; (d) Reconnection or renewal of water services connections; and (e) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
