The Awarding Authority's goal is to select the most advantageous proposal for comprehensive cleaning services. The selected Respondent shall maintain the building in a clean and safe condition. In reviewing proposals, the Awarding Authority will consider factors including experience of the principals and on-site supervisor of the company, staffing plan and proposed management plan. The Family Justice Center is a two-story building located at 989 Commonwealth Avenue in Brighton. Cleaning will be done five days a week. The Animal Shelter is a one-story building at 26 Mahler Road in Roslindale. Cleaning for Mahler Road will be required three (3) times per week in the first-floor occupied areas as described in the Scope of Services. Work must be completed prior to 3:30 PM. The Strand Theatre is located at 543 Columbia Road in Dorchester. In addition to the daily cleaning which must be done between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, the City of Boston (Mayor's Office of Art and Culture) produces, co-produces, or sponsors approximately 250 events per year, including rehearsals. Some of these events may require cleaning during the event or after the event and will be included as part of the Contract. The Strand Theatre also requires additional work for Private Events from the selected cleaning vendor. These events are separate from the City sponsored events and will be the responsibility of the Strand Manger and the selected vendor to coordinate. The City will require separate three (3) price proposals for cleaning at the Family Justice Center, Animal Shelter, and the Strand Theatre as per the Scope of Services in Sections V, VI and VII below. The company to whom this Contract is awarded shall have been in business a minimum of two (2) years in comprehensive cleaning services in buildings greater than 10,000 square feet. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted to the Official in writing via email (addressed to pmbbidinfo@boston.gov), and be received by 2:00 PM on April 13, 2022. Delivery of questions regarding this RFP to any other individual, or delivery made in any other manner, will not constitute receipt by the City. There will be no exceptions made to this requirement, and no response will be provided unless questions are submitted in writing via email addressed to pmdbidinfo@boston.gov prior to the stated deadline. Written responses to the questions received by the April 13, 2022 deadline will be provided via the Supplier Portal, by 2:00 PM, April 20, 2022.
