The Southington Board of Education is accepting bids at one school site for Stage Rigging Services Bids and RFP Invitations Sealed bid envelopes are to be returned to the address below with the bid number clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Purchasing Office Board of Education 200 North Main Street Southington CT 06489 Replace existing rigging materials and equipment in the Southington High School auditorium. Work includes but is not limited to: o Remove and replace existing batten trim chains with 3' long x 1/4 " trim chains of Proof Coil Grade 30 chain. Terminate according to current ANSI standard. o Replace all shackles with domestic (USA made) 5/16" shackles, installed to current ANSI standard. Imported shackles will not be acceptable. o Install pin wire on all shackles to prevent loosening. o All work shall be new and of first quality. All work shall be in accordance with applicable state and local building codes & regulations, ANSI and similar occupational, safety and health requirements and regulations, and good construction practices. o Removal and proper disposal of old materials is the responsibility of the successful vendor. o All areas shall be kept in a broom clean condition daily. o Successful vendor will need to supply necessary equipment to complete the project. No equipment will be provided by Southington Public Schools.
