This project generally includes an opportunity to submit a quote on nine (9) separate hay management areas located in various townships of Will County. The Forest Preserve District of Will County requests a quote from your company to complete the following grassland management project at DuPage River Confluence Preserve East and West. The successful contractor will be required to provide proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000, and the Forest Preserve District of Will County must be listed as additionally insured. Please provide your quote total as a sum of the activities described below. Each late hay site shall be awarded individually. Carefully read the attached Technical Specifications for the details on this management project and the quote instructions. Potential winning quotes will be selected based on the following criteria: 1) best total bid amount, 2) past compliance with the Forest Preserve's contracts, hay contracts or farm license agreements (e.g., compliance with project specifications, timely payments, etc.), and 3) if tied quotes are received, the order of receiving the quotes. Payment is due to the Forest Preserve before May 15 of each year. If payment is not received by that date, the project may be awarded to another contractor. The Forest Preserve District of Will County is not responsible for misinterpretation of the Late Hay Management Project at DuPage River Confluence Preserve, East and West, 3-year Project, 2022-2024.
