Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
This project will replace Walker Over Goat River Bridge No. 00615, located on Highway 3 approximately 12km east of Creston, BC (49 8'24.68", -11624'16.48"). The three span, ~87m structure built in 1950 comprises a ~55m steel through truss main span and accommodates 2 lanes of traffic. TIMELINE: Request for qualifications to short-list three qualified respondents is closed; preferred proponent is not selected. Detailed design to be complete Fall, 2023. Further update late summer 2023, upon approvals.
