Renovation of a transportation facility in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The proposed work includes: Fabrication, delivery, and installation of A bucket conveyor system as shown on the plans and as detailed in the specifications. Special Needs: If you have special needs addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, please notify the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, at (816) 364-4110 or through Missouri Relay System, TDD 7-1-1, at least five (5) working days prior to the bid opening you plan to attend. The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by the law and are set forth in the bid proposal. The St. Joseph Regional Port Authority hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. The awarded Contractor and its subcontractor(s) shall require all such employees to complete this tenhour program, pursuant to 292.675 RSMO, unless they hold documentation on their prior completion of said program. Penalties for non-compliance include Contractor forfeiture to the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission in the amount of $2,500, plus $100 per Contractor and sub-contractor employee for each calendar day such employee is employed beyond the elapsed time period for required program completion under 292.675 RSMO. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Bidders must be on MoDOT's pre-approved contractor list. Proposals must be on forms provided in the Specifications and Contract Documents. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. MO DOT - Fabrication, Delivery, and Installation of a Bucket Conveyor System This project will involve the construction of one 60,000 grain storage bin, a transfer conveyor, and associated foundation and grading work. All improvements will be constructed at the existing elevation, and no trees will be disturbed with this project. Location is on Sacramento Street along the Missouri River. T57N, R35W, S17.
