Demand drains and water mains maintenance services are defined as unplanned work that is required on an as-needed basis. Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) is seeking two (2) Vendors for the provision of demand maintenance services - drains and water mains. TCHC's portfolio is divided into two (2) groups. It is TCHC's intent to award two (2) Vendors one (1) group each. This work is categorized as Demand Repairs. The deliverables have been separated into two (2) groups as follows: Group Operating Units 1 OUC, D, E, F, J, K, M and O 2 OUF, H, I, L, N, P, and Q Proponents must be able to respond to demand calls 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, including statutory holidays. Regular working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Monday to Friday. Hourly rates for demand calls after 5:00 pm, including weekends and statutory holidays will be performed at 1.5 times the regular rate. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option in favour of TCHC to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions (including pricing) for two (2) additional terms of up to one (1) year each. Option Years: Pricing will be adjusted by multiplying the factor of the Bank of Canada's annual core inflation rate as posted at the time of the start date of each of the optional terms.
