Request for Proposals for Architectural Services for Spirit Lake Housing Corporation The Spirit Lake Housing Corporation is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and firms for Architectural services for Spirit Lake Housing Corporation to be located in or around St. Michael, ND. The intent of this proposal is to assist with the following: All proposals shall include a description of the services to be provided, an Architectural service resume, three clients to service as reference, the hourly fee charge(s), types of expenses that are charged, and identification of the individual(s) in the firm who will have primary responsibility for providing services to the Spirit Lake Housing Corporation. Design the remodel of a new homeless shelter in an existing building. Existing building is two floors approximately 3,900 SF each floor. 2. Interior of existing building to be mostly demoed. The plan is for new electrical systems, mechanical systems, and plumbing systems within interior of building. New interior walls, doors, exterior doors, exterior windows are planned for this project. 3. Exterior of building to receive new siding and roof. Exterior of building to receive minor addition near entry area. 4. Waterproofing and new exterior foundation drain tile system is planned for this project. 5. Initial idea of interior spaces to include: entry area with client check-in area, men's sleeping area, women's sleeping area, men's bathroom with showers, women's bathroom with showers, commercial kitchen area, dining area, office area, employee bathroom area with showers. 6. Regrading of the site is planned to be included with the project. Site to be regraded away from the existing building. 7. Preliminary layout of the homeless shelter to be determined.
