Demolition and site work for a civil project in Bastrop, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Trunk Line 2 consisting of constructing approximately 3,827 linear feet of 36-in diameter gravity sanitary sewer line, manholes, highway bore, 10-in and 8-in diameter laterals, lift station demolition, and associated gravity sewer appurtenances. Interceptor 1 consisting of constructing approximately 3,421 linear feet of 24-in diameter gravity sanitary sewer line, 18-in diameter lateral, manholes, lift station demolition, and associated gravity sewer appurtenances. Liquidated Damages: $1,000.00 per day Construction Days: 270 days A CERTIFIED CHECK or an acceptable bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Bastrop, and furnish bonds on the forms provided. BIDDERS are required to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local conditions and perform field measurements and geotechnical work, as needed. Final Completion shall be 300 calendar days including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. Substantial Completion shall be 270 calendar days. SCHEDULING Milestones and tie-in with other Contracts are required. Refer to Specifications 003100 COORDINATION AND MEETINGS. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER OR BIDDERS will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond as stipulated in the specifications. NO BID may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) calendar days. THE CITY reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive any and/or all formalities, and award the bid as it appears most beneficial to the City.
