Renovation of a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Maintenance, Mechanical Systems, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Water and Wastewater Facilities. Description: The project contemplated herein consists of the Contractor performing repairs to the Grit Dewatering Screws #1, 2 & 3. Small Business/Veteran-owned Business - 5% There are currently three (3) Grit Dewatering Screws located in the Bldg. 203 Preliminary Treatment Facility at the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility. The Grit Dewatering Screws are responsible for the secondary dewatering of grit and transporting it to the belt conveyors and luggers. The following specification describes the repairs to the JI Bldg. 203 Grit Dewatering Screws #1 - 3 which includes the replacement of the troughs, screws and drives.
