Please accept this letter as your invitation to tender on a gravel haul for the Rural Municipality of Moose Range No. 486 for a 2 year contract based on: 2023- Approximately 25,000 tonnes of crushed gravel from NW 28-41-12 W2 to our stockpile site on: 1. NW 33-51-11 W2 (112.5 km) Petaigan (10,000 tonnes)
2. SE 05-50-11 W2 (94.9 km) Shop Yard (15,000 tonnes) 2024 - Approximately 25,000 tonnes of crushed gravel from NW 28-41-12 W2 to our stockpile sites on: 1. NW 33-51-11 W2 (112.5 km) Petaigan (10,000 tonnes)
2. SE 05-50-11 W2 (94.9 km) Shop Yard (15,000 tonnes) Tender must be submitted on enclosed tender sheet.
A 10% hold back will be held for up to 45 days once all clearances have been received (ex. SWCB, Declaration).
Haul must be completed prior to February 28, of each year or a penalty of $1,000 per day will be assessed for each day after this date.
Contractor must provide a certificate of insurance for one million dollars in liability insurance.
Contractor must carry their own Saskatchewan Workers Comp.
Contractor must adhere to all municipal bylaws, as well as provincial and federal laws and environmental requirements.
Contractor must include a list of equipment expected to use on this project
Contractor must provide a Bond for 10% of tender. (1st year with bid, 2nd year by April 30, 2024)
Payment will be based on $/tonne/km and $/tonne for loading.
All loads are to be scaled with copy of print out ticket provided to RM. The municipality has the option to use their equipment to push up the pile. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Tenders are graded by: Availability, serviceability, quality of work and cost. If you have any questions or require clarification please contact the office.
