Please accept this letter as your invitation to tender on a gravel crush for the RM of Bjorkdale No.426 (32,500t), RM of Connaught No.457 (25,000t) and the RM of Moose Range No.486 (25,000t) finished product from our gravel source located on NW 28-41- 12 W2 and to stockpile at the same site. Tender must be submitted on enclosed Tender Sheet. Crushing must be completed as per the attached spec sheet; a penalty of $1,000 per day will be assessed for each day after specified dates. 7/8 inch crush at a 105 Highways specification for traffic gravel with monitoring of crush quality to be ongoing throughout. Contractor must provide a certificate of insurance for one million dollars in liability insurance. Contractor must carry their own Saskatchewan Workers Comp. Contractor must adhere to all municipal bylaws, as well as provincial and federal laws and environmental requirements. Crushed gravel to be piled in the pit with each RM to pay quantity they ordered based on crusher scale belt after all clearances have been received (ex. SWCB & Statutory Declaration). A 10% Bid Bond must be supplied with tender. Payment subject to pit being left in acceptable condition. Contractor must include a list of equipment expected to use on this project Tender will include stripping & crush that will form part of the tender, please list prices separately. Stripping may be contracted out separately. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Tenders are graded by: Availability, serviceability, quality of work and cost. A second crush is also required for the same amounts for all three municipalities. Contractor and Municipalities need to agree on either doing both crushes at the same time with the 2 nd crush not being paid for until January 2023 and completed prior to October 31, 2022 or two separate crushes 1 st being completed prior to October 31, 2022 and paid for after completion of crush and 2nd crush being completed by October 31, 2023 and paid for after completion of crush.
