Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Harvard, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work required includes all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform the temporary relocation and replacement of existing bleachers; removal of existing site elements (concrete, fencing, wood structure, etc.); excavation; grading; installation of new concrete block wall; install concrete (sidewalk and pad); install drainpipe and washed gravel; install new fencing; install new handrail; new ADA signage and striping; site restoration and related work in accordance with the construction plans. 4. Other Bidding Information: a.) Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court upon review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract (820 ILCS 130/0.01). b.) 50 percent of the labor hours for this project must be performed by actual residents of the State of Illinois (20 ILCS 805/805-350). c.) The Harvard CUSD 50 is exempt from Illinois State, municipal, or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. d.) All bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check, or bank draft payable to Harvard CUSD 50 for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder instructions. The Harvard CUSD 50 reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of the contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder after final approval of the Harvard CUSD 50 Board. Base Bid - High School Visitor Bleacher Improvements 1. Remove (temporary move/store on-site) and replace existing (3) bleachers. 2. Excavation and removal of turf areas. 3. Removal of existing wood ticket shed. 4. HMA pavement removal. 5. Removal of existing concrete bleacher pad. 6. Installation of 5" PCC sidewalk over proposed 6" base course for new bleacher access. 7. Remove existing chain link fence and gates. 8. Install new chain link fence and gates. 9. Install new handrail for ADA ramp. 10. Install drain tile and river rock over fabric. 11. Install segmental block retaining wall. 12. Install new ADA signs and striping. 13. Restoration of all disturbed areas
