City of Kingsland, Georgia requests sealed competitive bids for thirteen (13) Portable Emergency Generators and one (1) fixed Generator. Contractor is to furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to complete installation.he contract will be awarded to the responsible, responsive bidder(s) whose submission, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to City of Kingsland - price and other factors considered. Unless otherwise specified in this RFP, City of Kingsland reserves the right to accept a bid in whole or in part, and to award by item or by group, whichever is deemed to be in the best interest of City of Kingsland when applicable. Any bidder who is in default to City of Kingsland at the time of submittal of the bid shall have that bid rejected. City of Kingsland reserves the right to clarify any contractual terms with the concurrence of the Contractor; however, any substantial nonconformity in the offer, as determined by City of Kingsland, shall be deemed non- responsive and the offer rejected. Fuel tank unit shall be a minimum of 24-hour operation or greater capacity calculated at full load. 4. Install/Connect electrical supply line with automatic transfer switch. 5. Complete testing under load to ensure the Generator is working properly. 6. Fuel tanks shall be installed in accordance with EPA, state and City environmental/building guidelines 7.
