On behalf of the Department of Facilities and Operations (F&O), the University is inviting firms with demonstrated experience in providing Fire Protection Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Services to submit a proposal response to this RFP. The Proponent will be responsible for providing inspection, maintenance, recertification, and repair services as governed by the National Fire Code 2019 Alberta Edition. The equipment to be maintained (but not limited to) will be fire extinguishers, fire hoses, wet/dry/pre-action/clean agent sprinkler systems and all miscellaneous parts of these systems, fire pumps & drivers (electric & diesel), backflow devices, and all special systems such as kitchen suppression etc. at four (4) of the university; North and South campuses, Faculty St. Jean (including all associated out buildings) and the Augustana campus, located in Camrose, AB.
