Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tavares, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and municipal facility.

The City of Tavares (the "City") invites qualified firms to submit statements of their qualifications for a Design Re-Build of the HVAC Systems at The Tavares City Hall and the Tavares Recreation Center.The City Council of the City of Tavares, invites Request for Qualifications from firms/ individuals to provide a Statement of Qualifications to develop a Design Build Project. This is a Federally funded project and all Federal regulations apply The Design-Build Contractor provides all the necessary engineering, project management, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, services, components and disposal to complete the replacement of existing HVAC units specified to the satisfaction of the Owner. The awarded contractor must meet and follow all Federal Grant requirements. All work will require permitting and inspection. This project will be required to be completed in 3 phases to allow certain areas of the building to remain occupied while other areas are renovated. Contractor will need to supply temporary climate control and air filtration to occupied areas when system is shut down. Contractor will be responsible for repairing any walls, floors, ceilings, electrical, plumbing and structural that is removed or altered to its current or better state upon completion. Awarded Contractor will be responsible for all costs of sub-contractors
