Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Porter Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project involves removal and replacement of guide rail and bridge barriers, bituminous pavement, installation of a new composite reinforced concrete deck with probable shear key and beam spall repair and additional work as depicted in the contract drawings, for a two-span adjacent box beam bridge. The project is located on (T-375) Gresock Road over Big Mahoning Creek, in Young Township, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. The Jefferson County Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality or bidding irregularities, and to award the contract as may be deemed by the Commissioners to be in their best interest. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. The contract duration will be 90-days. It is anticipated that notice-to-proceed will be issued on or about May 31, 2022 with a late finish of August 31, 2022. . Questions should be directed to the attention of W. A certified check or bid bond payable to or naming as oblige the Jefferson County Commissioners in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be deposited with proposal as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded the successful bidder will execute the contract and furnish all bonds as may be required.
