The City of Littleton ("City") seeks a qualified consultant that will assist the City in the creation of an Integrated Water Resource Plan (IWRP). The City has not previously created an Integrated Water Resource Plan. Prior to 1972, the City itself was a water distributor, and after a substantial flood event, the City sold the water system to Denver Water Department (DWD) who now supplies customers within Littleton. Other water and sanitation districts serve some parts of the City. The City seeks to create an Integrated Water Resource Plan that establishes the City's current supply and demand conditions (for water uses other than supplied by DWD), evaluates alternatives for future use profiles, and recommends wastewater use and conservation strategies for a 20-year time horizon. The City does not anticipate becoming a potable water supplier as currently served by DWD.
