As of January 30, 2024, this project is no longer being sought. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: CR Number: 2086161 The Myers Park Project is located on Town-owned property adjacent to Cayuga Lake, within Flood Zone A (1% chance / 100-year floodplain) at 1 Lansing Park Rd, about 2.5 miles west of the Lansing Town Center. For more than a decade it has been recognized that Myers Park - a 33-acre regional flagship park and one of the main access points to Cayuga Lake for Town of Lansing and Tompkins County residents - needs substantial upgrades to address aging park infrastructure. The purpose of this project is to enhance the use of this key existing public space as a crucial connection for the Cayuga Lake Blueway Trail / Scenic Byway. The project will include reconfigured vehicle and pedestrian circulation, access, and parking, an ADA-accessible kayak launch, unisex ADA-accessible bathroom facilities, an upgraded boat launch, and RV and campsite water supply and sewage disposal improvements. The Town intends to use the results of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to award an Agreement for the above-listed project. The purpose of this notice is to provide information to enable interested firms to prepare and submit a proposal for architectural/engineering design services to the Town of Lansing. The Town's project consists of the construction of new recreational facilities at Myers Park and all related site work. Services include architectural/engineering design, consulting promotion services and representing the Town's interests during the concept validation, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, construction, and close-out phases.
