Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sheldon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Village of Sheldon is accepting bids for the following miscellaneous road improvement project: Grade, shape, and pave with a hot mix asphalt to a 3-inch compressed thickness with a width of approximately 21 feet. Project shall be on 6th Avenue between Cox Street and the north village line for a distance of approximately 210 feet. Bids should include preparation of new surface including watering, rolling, and fine grading of roadway and shouldering with black dirt and grass seeding to restore residential lawns that meet new blacktop surface. New asphalt surface shall meet specifications as listed above. The Village of Sheldon reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or accept bid or portion of the bids which best serves the interest of the Village of Sheldon. The completion date for this project will be negotiated at the time of the contract award.
