Local Road Improvement Project on Sergeant Street: Project includes pulverizing, fine-grading, and repairing approximately 316 feet between County Road VV and Railroad Avenue. The new hot mix asphalt shall be applied at a 3-inch compressed thickness with a width of approximately 21 feet. It is required that the asphalt mix meet LRIP specifications. Bids should include pulverizing old asphalt surface, preparation of new surface including watering, rolling, and fine grading of roadway and shouldering with black dirt and grass seeding to restore residential lawns that meet new blacktop surface. New asphalt surface shall meet specifications as listed above. The Village of Sheldon reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or accept bid or portion of the bids which best serves the interest of the Village of Sheldon. The completion date for this project will be negotiated at the time of the contract award.
