Technical Questions: Please submit all questions to online until Monday May 9, 2022 1:00 PM CT. Questions will be answered and posted directly on the supplier portal. The District seeks a company who is an authorized dealer specializing in the replacement, installation, and programming of the NFS2-320, 640 and 3030 networkable, Notifier Fire Alarm Systems as well as the associated Onyx headend display systems. o The installer will provide the Design, Permit fees, Materials, Labor, and Testing to install and program the replacement NFS2 series Notifier Fire Alarm Systems. o The scope should include Network programming of all new panels to the Onyx workstations located at the main Parkland campus 5200 Harry Hines Blvd. Fire Command Center (1 workstation) and the DCHDPD Dispatch Center (3 workstations). o It is required that all Smoke Detectors, HVAC Duct Detectors, Manual Pull Stations, Waterflow Detectors, Tamper Devices Audio/Visual notification devices, Control and Monitor Modules and any other required devices be replaced with the new system. o The price shall include new cabling as needed to be installed above ceilings for all SLC and supported as required by applicable codes and standards. Price shall include exclusively, Specified Technologies Inc. (STI) fire rated barrier penetration devices and products where required for all rated penetrations. Equipment approval, pretest, and final signoff testing will be completed with the Local AHJ as well as the Parkland Fire Marshal or his Designee. o Work should be performed during normal business hours when possible, but some afterhours work will likely be required in direct patient care areas. o All work must comply with applicable local, state and NFPA codes, standards, and amendments. o All on-site staff must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and be fully vaccinated to include Covid-19. o The job site must be cleaned and restored to a business ready use and materials securely stored away at the end of each day. o All job sites will require a Parkland Above Ceiling Permit for all work performed 6 feet above the finished floor or penetrations of finished floors or any rated barriers.
