Spencer Brook Township is requesting sealed quotes for gravel to be hauled and spread on township roads as follows: 6000 cubic yards, more or less, Class #5 base gravel DOT Spec 3138 3/4-1" rock, 13% clay +/- 1%. Loads may be tested delivered from June 1, 2022 to September 1, 2022. Belly dumps only, with a minimum of six trucks, to be spread on township roads. Weight slips turned in daily. The quotes must provide cost of the material, cost of hauling, with no fuel surcharge. All costs must be separated for the viewing of township officials. A certificate of insurance and a bond, cashiers' check or certified check for 5% of the quote payable to Spencer Brook Township must accompany the quote. Certified gravel contractor will sign a contract with the township. Quote Sheets can be obtained by contacting the Township Clerk. The township will provide and place any traffic warning devices if need be. Questions about bids can telephone (763) 398-0012, the Township office; or Lyle Peterson, Chairman (763) 444-5241. The Spencer Brook Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all quotes for any reason.
