GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: Planting 181 ornamental trees: 6'-8' height x 4'-5' spread. Install steel edging and mulch. Staking of single trunk trees. Install irrigation system. Removal and replacement of stamped, colored concrete. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST To ensure potential bidders are kept up to date of any new information pertinent to this project, all interested parties are requested to email Expressions of Interest in this procurement to the City Project Manager and the Design Engineer. The email should include the company's name, contact person and that individual's email address and phone number. All Addenda will be distributed directly to those who have expressed an interest in the procurement and will also be posted in the City of Fort Worth's purchasing website at http://fortworthtexas.gov/purchasing/ If a prebid conference is held, the presentation and any questions and answers provided at the prebid conference will be issued as an Addendum to the call for bids. If a prebid conference is not being held, prospective bidders can e-mail questions or comments in accordance with Section 6 of the Instructions to Bidders referenced above to the project manager(s) at the e-mail addresses listed below. Emailed questions will suffice as "questions in writing." If necessary, Addenda will be issued pursuant to the Instructions to Bidders. AWARD City will award a contract to the Bidder presenting the lowest price, qualifications and competencies considered.
