The City of Martinez (City) Engineering Department is seeking to retain professional consulting services for the development and preparation of a Local Roadway Safety Plan (LRSP). The LRSP will identify, analyze and prioritize safety improvements in the Citys roadway network and be structured in a way to be capable of being updated to reflect changing conditions, needs and priorities. Although locally funded, the Consultant is required to follow all pertinent local, State and Federal laws and regulations. The project budget is $120,000. The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses received as a result of this solicitation; to extend the submission due date; to modify, amend, reissue or rewrite this document; and to procure any or all services by other means. The City will not be liable for any costs incurred by the consulting firms in preparation of their proposals or for developing and carrying out interview presentations. Submission of a proposal and Sealed Fee Proposal indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions contained in this RFP unless clearly and specifically noted in the proposal submitted and confirmed in the contract between the City of Martinez and the firm selected. The selected consultant will be required to submit a hard copy of the proposal prior to issuance of the contract.
