The streetlight upgrade for Sir Francis Drake Boulevard will include removing and salvaging existing streetlight poles and fixtures, installation of new streetlight foundations, installation of new decorative streetlights, and minor electrical work associated with connecting new streetlights to existing electrical circuits. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" or "C-10" License at time of bid submittal. Traffic Control shall be performed by Contractor or Sub-Contractor possessing a valid Class "C31" License at time of bid submittal. To bid on this Project, the Bidder and all subcontractors are required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The Bidder's and subcontractors' registration must remain active throughout the term of the Contract. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. If submitting on Bid Express, a scanned copy of the bid bond should be uploaded. The provisions of California Public Contract Code 22300, regarding substitution of securities for monies withheld to ensure performance shall apply to this contract. This project is to be advertised pursuant to Public Contract Code 22037.
