** This project has been awarded to Jimmy's Roofing in the amount of $427,832. ** PROJECT IDESCIRIPTION: Selective demolition of the exist-ing single ply membrane, cover board, and any rigid insulation. Installation of a roof system with tapered insulation in key loca-tions, cover board, and single ply membrane over the existing built-up roof at Kent Library. Any proposals received after the time and date specified will not, be considered. Bids shall be on a. lump sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. No bids will be considered unless accompa-nied by a certified check, cashier's check or by a bid bond issued by a State of Washington licensed surety company in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, made payable to "King County Library System.". Bid, Bid Bond and other enclo-sures shall be attached to the email and addressed to the Owner per Section 002000 with the Subject: "Kent Library Re-Roofing Project". No bidder may withdraw its bid after the time set for opening unless and. until award. of the con-tract has been delayed for a period of sixty (60) days. King County Library System reserves the right to reject all bids for any or no reason, .to waive informalities and irregularities, to reject any bid not confbrming to the intent and purpose of the Contract; Documents, and to post-pone the award of the Contract for a. period of otine not greater than sixty (60) days from the bid open-ing date.
