Renovation of a medical facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Mendota Mental Health Institute (MMHI) is a secured state treatment facility managed by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Care and Treatment Services for individuals with mental health disabilities. MMHI has a patient population of approximately 220 individuals. In addition, MMHI has a population of approximately 30 students of the Mendota Juvenile Treatment Center (MJTC), operated under contract with the Department of Corrections MMHI is soliciting bids for repair of the steel structure to the Quonset Hut located at MMHI grounds and intends to use the results of this process to award a contract. MMHI does not guarantee to purchase any specific quantity of product or pay any minimum contract price during the term of the Contract. Bids that require a minimum number of commodities or services be ordered will be disqualified. All requirements and specifications for this Simplified Bid are in an Attachment titled Quonset Hut Repairs - Steel. The resulting contract will be effective on the date indicated on the purchase order. This is a one-time purchase with no renewals. The State may terminate this contract by providing a written notice to the Contractor at least ninety (90) days in advance of the intended date of termination due to lack of performance. The Contractor may also terminate this contract after providing the State with no less than ninety (90) days written notice.
