This specification describes the electrical and mechanical requirements for submersible automatic secondary network protectors. These network protectors are to be used in conjunction with subway type network transformers and oil-immersed primary switches for use in the underground network electrical distribution system of the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division (MLGW) located in Memphis, Tennessee. The various voltage and current ratings covered by this specification are stated in Section 4, "Electrical Component and Electrical Requirements", of this specification. The specific system voltage and current rating of the network protector to be supplied shall be stated, by MLGW, at the time of bidding. Board of Light, Gas and Water Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any Minor Irregularities in the bids, and to accept any bid, or portion thereof which it deems most favorable to the interest of the MLGW, and to award one (1) contract to whomsoever it may elect. Failure to sign this bid (RFQ) is not considered a Minor Irregularity
