This Contract provides for water main improvements within the Valley Water District. The project is located within WTSDOT right-of-way. Work will consist of furnishing and installing approximately 1,460 linear feet of 12-Inch ductile iron water main in Phase 2 and 3,530 linear feet of 12-Inch ductile iron water main in Phase 3 and all associated water system materials including water main, fittings, valves, fire hydrants, and water service materials, as well as traffic control and surface restoration. The Contractor shall complete all work within 100 working days. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit by a cashier's or certified check, or Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish satisfactory Performance Bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid deposit or bond shall be forfeited to the Valley Water District. The Contractor will be required to comply with all local, State, and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunities. All bid proposals shall be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and all other contract documents.
