This Request for Proposals (RFP) is for the design and construction of 1000 meters of new aMTB (Adaptive Mountain Bike) trails including a climbing trail and flow trails at the Fallen Giants site. The Ministry is soliciting proposals from companies experienced in designing and constructing bicycle friendly trails and bike park features. PROJECT LOCATION Golden Ears Provincial Park is located 11 kilometers north of Maple Ridge on the north side of the Fraser River. Access to the park is by vehicle via Dewdney Trunk Road through the Municipality of Maple Ridge. If heading west, turn right onto 232nd and if heading east, turn left onto 223rd; then turn right onto Fern Crescent at the traffic circle and follow the road into the park. The campgrounds are approximately 11 kilometers north of the park entrance. The Fallen Giants trails are positioned between Golden Ears Parkway across from Gold Creek Campground and the West Canyon parking lot.
