The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Work. The successful Bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of section 22300 of the Public Contract Code. The Project consists of all labor, materials equipment and services necessary to perform roof repairs at the following sites: 3.1.Ramblewood School, Flat Roofs and Gutters: Scope of Work: 3.1.1. Remove all debris from the flat roofs and the gutters of the metal roofs. 3.1.2. Three course repair all penetrations, drains/scuppers and mechanical curbs with KEELock mastic and Polyester soft. 3.1.3. Clean and re-caulk all coping joints with Tripolymer Caulk. 3.2. Meadows School, B-Wing leak and debris removal: Scope of Work: 3.2.1. Remove all debris from the roof in all areas. 3.2.2. Coat the stucco wall with Tuff Coat sealant. 3.2.3. Three course repair all sumped drains. 3.2.4. Seal all expansion joint seams with Tripolymer sealant. 3.3. Hellyer School Flat Roofs: Scope of Work: 3.3.1. Remove all debris from the flat roofs and walkways. 3.3.2. Three course repair all penetrations, drains/scuppers and mechanical curbs with KEELock mastic and Polyester soft. 3.3.3. Clean and re-caulk all coping joints with Tripolymer Caulk. 3.4. Franklin School, Flat Roofs and Metal roof gutters: Scope of Work: 3.4.1. Remove all debris from the flat roofs and the gutters of the metal roofs. 3.4.2. Three course repair all penetrations, drains/scuppers and mechanical curbs with KEELock mastic and Polyester soft. 3.4.3. Repair all blisters and splits at the transition between the metal and BUR Roofs. 3.5.Shirakawa Multipurpose room roof leak: Scope of Work: 3.5.1. Remove all debris from the flat roofs. 3.5.2. Three course repair all penetrations, drains/scuppers and mechanical curbs with KEELock mastic and Polyester soft to fix the leak in the MP room The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the Total Bid (Base Bid + 10% Allowance) amount only. 10. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
