Orange County exercises the rights and privileges conveyed to it by the State of Florida, and the Orange County Charter. It presently operates with an elected chief executive officer, Orange County Mayor, and six elected district commissioners, who together comprise the Board of County Commissioners. All questions or concerns regarding this Invitation for Bids shall be submitted by email to Ana.Villalona@ocfl.net, no later than 5:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2022 to the attention of Ana Villalona, Procurement Division, referencing the IFB number. Question Submission Deadline:May 6, 2022, 5:00 pm The Contract resulting from this solicitation shall commence effective upon execution by both parties and extend for a period of twelve (12) months. The County may unilaterally renew the Contract for the periods specified on the Bid Proposal Form for twenty-four (24) months. Should the Contractor fail to make delivery of the goods or equipment within the time(s) specified in the contract, or within such additional time(s) as may be granted by Orange County, the County shall suffer damage, the amount of which is difficult, if not impossible to ascertain. Therefore, the Contractor shall pay to the County, as liquidated damages, the sum of $200.00 for each calendar day of delay that actual completion extends beyond the time limit specified until such reasonable time as may be required for final completion of the work The County reserves the right to accept or to reject any or all bids and to make the award to that bidder who, in the opinion of the County, will be in the best interest of and/or the most advantageous to the County.
