The Lassonde School of Engineering ("Lassonde") at York University is planning to modernize and upgrade existing Audio Visual (AV) technology to current and innovative industry standards that will enable HyFlex in select classrooms, labs, and other spaces in Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence. Lassonde is looking for a solution that will meet its functional requirements and will greatly enhance students' and faculty experience in a teaching and learning environment. The proposed design should be futuristic and match or exceed similar implementations in other educational institutions. Deliverables of the project include services and equipment required for the proper implementation and functioning of the proposed solution as described within the RFP documents. York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified. Duration of Agreement: The initial term of the Agreement shall be for twelve (12) months, with up to four (4) optional twelve (12) month extensions; for a potential Term of sixty (60) months. Negotiation: York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
