Renovation of an educational facility in Darrington, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Invitation to Bid is currently the only document available for this project. Contractors shall be certified installers for the brand name of the product used. Contractors must submit a notarized statement agreeing to comply with prevailing wage and affirmative action requirements and must submit a certification of intent to pay prevailing wage and a certification of insurance before commencement of work. A performance bond will be required. Remove and dispose of existing roof down to structural deck. Inspect existing structural deck for deterioration. Replace any structural deck not capable of providing a suitable substrate. Remove existing perimeter drip edging and dispose of debris. Remove existing valley metal and dispose of debris. Furnish and install underlayment. Furnish and install new composite shingles (minimum thirty-year warranty) utilizing galvanized roofing nails. Furnish and install matching hip and ridge shingles. Contractors may make an appointment to measure and evaluate the project from April 22, 2022 through May 11, 2022 between the hours of 7 A.M. and 1 P.M. The bid will be awarded by the School Board on May 24, 2022 at the regular board meeting. Please direct any questions to McKenzie Boyd at mboyd@dsd.k12.wa.us or 360-436-1323. Darrington School District No. 330 reserves the right to postpone the bid opening, to waive formalities or irregularities in the bid process, and to accept or reject any or all bids.
