Healthcare Materials Management Services (HMMS) is looking to pre-qualify Construction General Contractors with a proven record of providing relevant Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional services, for future selected projects in hospital / healthcare environments. The preparation and issuance of this Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ), HMMS04007 - Vendor of Record (VOR) - Construction General Contractors, is the first stage of a two-stage competitive process that HMMS is using to gather information about supplier capabilities and qualifications, in order to pre-qualify suppliers in advance of expected future procurement competitions. Supplier pre-qualification is not an obligation of the Organization(s) to call on any supplier to provide goods or services as a result of pre-qualification. Furthermore, HMMS and its Affiliates make no guarantee of the value or volume of work to be awarded to the pre-qualified Construction General Contractors, throughout the three-year term of the Qualification Period (VOR). All projects are subject to internal approval processes, approval of external funding, and/or budgets. It is the intention of HMMS to award Vendor of Record (VOR) status to twelve (12) Proponents who successfully prove their capabilities and qualifications, as a result of this RFSQ. Only the suppliers on the pre-qualified list will receive further notices of procurement covered by the (VOR) list. The number of pre-qualified suppliers that will be invited to submit tenders for future procurement, will be based on the Second Stage Selection details. Construction General Contractors and their employees must have full knowledge of, and maintain compliance with, ALL applicable Federal and Provincial Legislative Requirements (i.e. Acts, Regulations, Training, Standards, Licensing, Public Health Directives, etc.) to provide Institutional General Contracting services, throughout the three-year term of the Qualification Period (VOR).
