The Project includes, but is not limited to, water, sewer, drainage and roadway improvements to Bartlett Street from Cate Street to Dennett Street, Thornton Street from Woodbury Avenue to Bartlett Street, and subsequent tie-ins to side streets along Bartlett Street. There are add/alternatives to the base bid contract to include Morning Street, and a raised intersection at Bartlett St. and Thornton St. intersection. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Total amount of the Bid (Base Bid plus all Bid Alternates). The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds, and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of his Bid. Completion time for the Base Bid project will be calculated as calendar days (exclusive of winter shut down) from the date specified in the ''Notice to Proceed'' as follows: 200 Calendar days for Substantial Completion (Incl. Utilities, Curb, Sidewalk, and Binder pavement).220 Calendar days for Final Completion Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $ 500.00 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion, and $ 400.00 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for final completion.
