Renovation of a water / sewer project in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The Commissioners of Public Works of the City of Charleston, South Carolina, is requesting additional interested Contractors to complete an Application for Prequalification of Bidders for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for construction of the Plum Island WPCP - Diesel Tanks Storage and Distribution Improvements on Plum Island in Charleston, SC. The Work to be performed consists of the construction of concrete tertiary containment walls around three existing diesel fuel storage tanks. Improvements will also include mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing improvements for the diesel storage and distribution systems at Electrical Zones 1 and 3 at Plum Island Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP). Please direct all questions to Chris Troutman, PE. Neither the Owner nor Engineer has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness or sufficiency of the Application, including any Addenda, obtained from any other source. The Owner will not accept bids from Contractors who fail to submit timely applications for prequalification or from Contractors who fail to prequalify. The project will be bid at a later date in accordance with Charleston Water System's procurement requirements and the project bid documents.
