This solicitation is for Roof Repairs for The State of Louisiana, Department of Health, located at located at Pinecrest Support and Services, 100 Pinecrest Dr., Pineville, LA 71360. The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications. This project consists of roof replacement of a thirteen thousand eighty four (13,084) square foot building. Furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to remove existing roof to decking and replace with Certain Teed Landmark Pro/Architect with five (5) Star Protection warranty system or equal. All substitutions shall have a minimum full coverage warranty of twenty (20) years workmanship and materials. o Roofing system materials shall meet all manufacturer requirements for warranty. o Install new dark bronze drip edge two and a half (2 1/2 ) inches wide around entire buildings including rakes. o Install new lead bootjacks on all roof plumbing vents. o Remove and reinstall existing roof vents. o Install moisture guard at all penetrations, eaves, vents, valleys and rakes. o Roof shall be installed to one-hundred thirty (130) mile per hour wind rating at a minimum. o A minimum of six (6) nails per shingle shall be used. o Add ridge vents to all ridges. o Replace all missing wall step flashing with new and seal to wall. o Reuse existing wall flashing to if not damaged. o Valleys shall be Woven Valleys over membrane flashing and any required roofing accessories by roofing manufacture to meet manufacturer system requirements. Note: Closed Cut valleys or open flashing, will not be allowed. Install peel-and-stick membrane, thirty-six (36) inches wide, centered on valley. o Flashing to be lapped a minimum of two (2) inches. o If manufacturer specifications exceed minimum requirements listed, the manufacturer specifications shall be followed. o All amounts are approximate and must be verified by the bidder.
