Scope of Work: The City of Roswell is seeking sealed Bids for the purpose of demolition of buildings within the City of Roswell. As projects become available, the City will contact prequalified contractors to provide quotes with a given deadline as to when the quote is due. Demolition projects can include the abatement of asbestos. To help the city of roswell defray printing costs; it is requested that unsuccessful bidders return the bidding documents in usable condition within ten (10) business days after bidding. Each bidder is requested to visit the site of the proposed work to fully acquaint themselves with the conditions relating to the construction and labor so that the bidder may fully understand the facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the execution of the work under the contract. Bidders shall thoroughly examine and be familiar with the plans and specifications and any federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations that may in any manner affect cost, progress, or performance of the work. The failure or omission of any bidder to receive or examine any form, instrument, addendum, or other document or to visit the site and acquaint themselves with conditions there existing, shall in no way relieve any bidder from obligations with respect to the their bid or contract. The submission of a bid shall be taken as prima facie evidence of compliance with this section. All bids received are subject to approval of the city council at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
