Renovation of an educational facility in Troy, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project includes but is not limited to the following: Replacement of the portico on the front facade of Mitchell Hall, on Troy University's Troy Campus. The Owner intends to award a single contract to a single contractor. The Owner will accept proposals only from pre-qualified firms which demonstrate their experience and ability to perform the work necessary for this Project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to Troy University in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00 must accompany the bidder's proposal. Bidders must submit with the proposal a letter from an Insurance Carrier approved by the State of Alabama as evidence of insurability. Performance Bond valued at 100% of the contract amount and Payment Bond valued at 50% of the contract amount will be required at the signing of the Contract.
