Demolition, new construction and renovation of a parking garage in San Jose, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage; for the demolition of a parking garage; and for the construction of a parking garage.

Demolition of the entire existing Della Maggiore Building for the new construction of the Behavioral Health Services Center (BHSC) parking structure. Demolition scopes includes, but not limited to all above & below grade utilities, all surface materials such as concrete walks, asphalt paving, fence, landscaping, foundations, elevator system, other above, below grade structure. Obtain the required permits and certifications for demolition scope including but not limited to: BAAQMD, elevator removal (if applicable), environmental permits if needed. Include hazardous materials abatement per ATC Report dated 4/1/21 and URS soil report dated 3/15/21. Provide off haul, dump fees, including hazardous materials off hauls and disposal. nclude traffic control, signage, dust control, haul off demolition/construction debris, tree removal/protection. Maintain street clean up. Provide all required best management practices (BMP) Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)/Erosion Control program to maintain regulatory compliance. Refer to SANDIS' SWPPP report/erosion control plans. Protect all existing utilities feeding adjacent buildings and not included in demolition plans. Include cut/cap & safe-off existing utilities marked on plan including but not limited to underground electrical, telecom, sanitary sewer, and domestic water lines. Upon completion of the demolition of Della Maggiore building, construct a new parking structure including but not limited to new landscaping, replacement utility services, new elevators, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety systems. Obtain the required permits and certifications for new parking structure including but not limited to elevators, fire alarm/sprinklers systems, hazmat for diesel generator, environmental permits if needed. Drawings shall be designed and stamped by California licensed engineer. Submit deferred items to building department for approval and permitting. Refer to project data sheet for the required deferred submittal items. Drawings shall be designed and stamped by California licensed engineer. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bond in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate of the Bid price, including all additive Bid items. Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work no later than 490 calendar Days from the Commencement Date. Contractor shall achieve Final Completion of the entire Work no later than 520 calendar Days from the Commencement Date. Owner has the right to reject Products with Manufacturer's Warranties that are in conflict with requirements of the Contract Documents. S.J.
