Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Spring Valley, Wisconsin. Completed plans call civil work for a bridge / tunnel.
Pierce County is seeking a contractor to provide all of the necessary components to complete a design-build snowmobile bridge. The bridge shall be a 12’ X 32.5’ steel truss style bridge that has a design vehicle load bearing capacity of 25,000 lbs.. The project location is on Mines Creek, approximately .6 mi west of 250th street near Spring Valley, WI. Sealed bids marked “Mines Creek Snowmobile Bridge” must be received by mail, or hand delivered, to Scott Schoepp, Nugget Lake County Park, N4351 Co. Rd. HH, Plum City, WI 54761 by no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 13, 2022. Bids will be opened at 4:05 p.m. on May 13, 2022. Bids will be reviewed and awarded at the May 17th, 2022 Pierce County Parks Committee Meeting which will be held in the Pierce County Courthouse in Ellsworth, WI. Email: nlcp@centurytel.net Pierce County reserves the right, in its sound discretion, to accept or reject any or all bids provided in response to the Invitation to bid documents, regardless of conformity with the specifications, as well as to waive any errors and omissions as well as any technical failure of any bid to be fully responsive. Such discretion shall be exercised in the best interest of Pierce County and its taxpayers. Pierce County also reserves the right to determine who, among the several bidders, constitutes the lowest, responsive and responsible party for the project in question. Bid price shall remain in effect for 90 days. Pierce County reserves the right to reduce its agreement with the successful party to a written contract and until such a time as said contract is executed by and between the parties, Pierce County shall not be bound to the terms of the bid in question.
