Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Broadview, Illinois. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The scope of work of the project involves the removal and replacement of partial curb and gutter, sidewalks and driveway aprons, parkway asphalt, structure adjustments, reconstructions of drainage structures, milling the existing asphalt surface, pavement patching, installation of a hot-mix asphalt binder course, and hot-mix asphalt surface course, spot restoration of the parkways, and all other appurtenant work thereto. This project has an accelerated timeline and all asphalt surface course must be placed prior to June 17th. The Contractor is asked to verify ability to complete this work in this timeframe prior to bidding on project. Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. All bidders wishing to obtain bidding documents must be approved by the Village prior to obtaining bidding documents. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the proposals without the consent of the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Broadview for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. The Contractor and Subcontractor shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The Contractor shall be required to furnish sufficient insurance or guaranty of indemnity to the Village of Broadview, Illinois, the County of Cook, Illinois, and the Engineer against any and all claims which might arise for damages to persons or property due to the negligence of the Contractor or Subcontractors, or their officers, agents, employees or servants, during the construction of said improvement and until the said improvement has been finally accepted as complete by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Broadview, Illinois.
