Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in Arena, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Work for which bids are asked consists of two proposals. Interested bidders may submit bids on one or both proposals. Proposal A work includes approximately 1,900 linear feet 8-inch sanitary sewer, 7 manholes, 500 feet of C900 water main and roadway restoration consisting of aggregate base and asphaltic concrete pavement. Work also includes utility appurtenances, dewatering, railroad utility pipe jacking and turf restoration. Lift station work includes demolition/abandonment of the South Street Lift Station and upgrades to the existing Pine Street Lift Station including new submersible pumps, process piping, natural gas fueled standby generator with automatic transfer switch, power distribution junction box, natural gas supply and appurtenances, control panel retrofit and related equipment. Proposal B work includes approximately 5,000 linear of 8-inch resin impregnated cured-in-place (CIPP) pipe lining, reinstate and grout and 60 service laterals, install new castings, adjustment and external chimney seals on 14 manholes and grout seal joints in 10 precast manholes. If the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Andy Zimmer, 1230 South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. Federal wage rates can be found website. Be aware that project Administrators, Bidders, and Contractors are required to use the latest federal wage rate available at the time of bid opening. This project anticipates use of Wisconsin DNR Clean Water Fund Program funding. We encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit bid proposals. If a subcontractor awards subcontracts, these requirements shall apply to the subcontractor. The Contractor shall conform to the "Use of American Iron and Steel" provision of H.R. 3547 Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014, section 436, including all iron and steel products used in the project.
